What is an AI transparent image generator?

Can I remove the background from a photo I upload?

Yes — switch to Image to Image, upload the photo, and describe what to isolate. Bear in mind that a generative model redraws the subject, so small details may change. If you need the original pixels preserved exactly, use a dedicated background remover instead.

Which files and sizes can I upload?

Why does my result still have a white or checkered background?

This tool always requests a transparent background at the API level, so you never need to write it in the prompt. The checkerboard in the preview is the transparency itself — that pattern is not part of the image. If the downloaded file has a solid white background, it was almost certainly saved or exported as JPG somewhere along the way, which discards the alpha channel, or the app you opened it in flattens transparency onto white. If the image itself contains an opaque backdrop, the prompt usually described a scene — a table, a wall, a studio — and the model drew it as part of the subject; describe only the subject instead.

Does the transparency survive in Figma, Canva, PowerPoint and Shopify?

Yes. Every one of them reads PNG alpha natively — just import the PNG as-is and avoid any “convert to JPG” or “flatten” step in between. The same applies to email templates and CSS backgrounds on the web.

Can I use the generated images commercially?

Commercial use depends on your source material and the applicable product terms. If you uploaded a reference image, you need the rights to it. Review the Terms of Service before using outputs in client work, product listings or paid campaigns.
